Tallyfy lets you modify any running process independently from its original template by adding new tasks and reassigning existing ones and adjusting due dates and renaming or archiving the instance while keeping the master template completely unchanged.
Edit tasks
Edit any task in Tallyfy - change assignees, update descriptions, add videos or images, and adjust due dates. This works for both standalone tasks and tasks inside running processes.
Someone out sick? Reassign their tasks. Requirements changed? Update the description. Need clarity? Add a video. The rich text editor lets you format descriptions with bullet points, headings, and highlights.
Tallyfy lets you edit template steps by adding new ones or modifying existing step details including descriptions with rich media and assignments to specific people or groups or guests along with step types and form fields and deadlines set relative to launch or other steps and advanced settings like webhooks and mandatory flags and auto-assignment rules.
Tallyfy’s API gives you full control over tasks — whether they live inside a running process or exist as standalone one-off items — allowing you to list and retrieve them as well as create and update and complete and reopen them programmatically.

Tallyfy lets you modify a running process without restarting it by opening the process from Tracker view and clicking the Settings gear icon to rename it and reassign the owner and add notes or export data.
